Purpose

Everything on this website is for the good of all who have lived and died, laughed and cried, hunted and fished, feasted and danced along the four great rivers known as Moose, Albany, Attawapiskat & Winisk, since the great ice shields receded north from your Territory some 12,000 years ago. What the People do with this information is up to you, as I am simply a faithful servant, forthright messenger and passionate advocate for my patients. Nothing more, nothing less. It is my hope that the information presented in mushkegowuklivesmatter.net will be used by the People to write their own history and use the lessons to guide them to a rich, full and healthy future.

May this website be used in a manner concordant with that already expressed by Senator Murray Sinclair on December 15, 2015 upon the release of the final Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report. He said;

'Achieving reconciliation is like climbing a mountain — we must proceed a step at a time. It will not always be easy. There will be storms, there will be obstacles, but we cannot allow ourselves to be daunted by the task because our goal is Just and and it also necessary. Remember, reconciliation is yours to achieve. We owe it to each other to build a Canada based on our shared future, a future of healing and trust.'  

In reaching your destination do so in an inclusive manner as many different people share Mother Earth as decreed by the Creator, a fact that no one can change.         

There was not, is not or will ever be any other purpose to what I have done, as I am a simple person guided by a strong moral compass driven by time tested lessons instilled in me from my parents that include;

Don't lie or hold any secret;

Give more, take less;

Be kind, thoughtful, polite & grateful;

Forgive & show compassion;

Every one matters; and

Everything you do matters.
